Thousands of parents who bought their children a mini-motorbike from the Warehouse in November or December are being urged to return it to their nearest store.
The 49cc mini offroad motorbike is not safe to be ridden because of potential mechanical faults.
Corporate Affairs Manager Cynthia Church says the faults became apparent when Boxing Day returns began flooding in.
The Warehouse says all customers will receive a full refund.
Almost 3,500 of the bikes have been sold.
